The frame of the bench is made of a single piece of cast iron, while the
seat and back are a single row of 13 wooden slats - 9 single width and 4
double width. The slats are of solid Iroko wood, dried, sanded and treated
with synthetic varnish for outdoor use.
The feet have holes drilled in them so the bench can be anchored to the
ground.
